Equal Access Consultancy

Have Your Say

A large part of our work is about finding out the experiences of disabled people who use the services of public authorities such as their District or County Council, the Health Service, the Police, or voluntary sector organisations. To do this, we are sometimes commissioned by organisations to carry out questionnaire surveys or interviews, or hold small focus groups or larger conferences. his page will contain information about the projects we are currently involved in, along with links to questionnaire surveys where appropriate.

As a disabled person who uses health and social care services, Theresa Hodge represents the needs of disabled service users on the Disabled People's Participation Group (DPPG).  She is a user of Personal Budgets, and in this capacity represents disabled people on the East Sussex County Council's Personalisation User and Carer Panel, as well as their Online Resource Directory Development Group.  As well as her own experiences, Theresa draws on the experiences of other disabled people using similar services who she comes into contact with through her paid and voluntary work, as well as her own personal life.

If you are a disabled person living in East Sussex who is interested in representing the voice of disabled people on groups such as these, please get in touch using any of the methods on the Contact Us page.
